Synopsis:
Zhong Tian Qi, a second son of a jewelry tycoon and Xia Zhi Xing a con-artist, who is out for her probation, experience the pain of loosing their love on the same day. He’s running away from his brother’s and ex-girlfriend’s engagement party with a heirloom jewelry in tow and she is welcoming her freedom with the hopes that she will see her boyfriend again. He bumps into her and drops the jewelry in her hand, mistaken theft identities follows and hilarities ensues…
What’s unusual is that fate has hurdled them on that same day in an accident/trouble that will have them running away handcuffed together! This situation leads to more trouble, and brings these two opposing people to a hilarious yet wonderful journey, that explores the insanities that comes with love, the self-confidence to have the heart that distinguishes between sincerity and lies, and the experiences of pains and sacrifices to make love happen!

I like it very much. Especially the main character that Yoo Ha Na played. She looks so sweet there.
I also like Jimmy. His acting never dissapointing.

Well I am in Awe with this movie. I use to not really like Chinese / Taiwan movie as much as I would with other Asian Drama. However, I didn’t really hear much negative comments about this series and decided to give it a try. I seriously don’t regret watching it. It is a must see.
Furthermore, Chinese/Taiwanese Drama tend to be overly dramatic to me. Most actors or actresses’ acting are so poor or just out of line. Most drama series seem like they try TOO hard to make the movie look good. But this one, everyone just fit in their roles. It wasn’t too much of anything. Just Perfect for me.
After completing the drama, I did notice that this drama use a lot of cliques stuff. However, they make it seem much more better. You wouldn’t even notice that there are cliques.
Examples of some cliques in the drama series:
Love Triangle, Taboo, Corny Advice for relationship, Physical / Emotional Injuries, Contract to do something, Separation for a long time then coincidentally meeting years later, Heirloom Jewelries to be pass to loves one, Car accident, Someone with a High / Low class status, Finding unbeknown family, Sassy main girl would acts all tough in the Beginning of the series, Secrets, etc.
I really like the drama. Probably the most negative thing I can say about this drama is the facts that everything is happening too quick. Like you can totally assume what’s going to happen. But other than that, everything was great and awesome.
I also like to include the fact that the two main couple in this series was such a good match. I really dislike the drama series that don’t have matching partners. For example, in a triangle, if the main actress was pretty, the main actor wouldn’t be as handsome or matching as the supporting actor. In addition, if the main actor is super handsome too, the main actress wouldn’t be as pretty or matching as much as the supporting actress. Therefore, I really like this drama because to me, everyone actually fit their roles in here.

dear all!
i have 9 disc DVD of My Lucky Star which have 35 episode in Indonesia
i was surprised, coz the story is has not ending yet.
the last episode (35) i saw is : Cung Thien Chi has become the leader of E Shine. At the ending of the episode, the another son of Mr.Cung, who played by Lee Wei showed up and having chat with his assistant.
Can anyone tell me how many episode of My Lucky Star till the end ?????
Or at least, tell me how is the story ending, please ?????

My Lucky Star was the first taiwanese drama i watch. I’m so happy i chose it since it was one of the best dramas so far i watched!! The actors fit the roles of a the characters, especially Jimmy Lin and Yoo Ha Na( excellent work! i never knew it was her first time acting in a drama since she was really great in it ). Those two actually are a perfect match!! Yoo Ha Na is so pretty and Jimmy Lin is really cute!! >.<
I really hope to see more of them of them together in other drama. Especially Yoo Ha Na, I'm a big fan of her) ^^
